The DOCS Command on RCP/M #2 -- New Stuff From FOG

One feature of our RCPM #2 is the DOCS command. At the "A>" prompt, enter DOCS<cr>. Here's what you'll see <blank lines are omitted to conserve space, and lines of more than 54 characters have been wrapped>:

[This is the list of FOG CPM disks currently posted on the RCPM. These files are on Drive D, User Area 1. There are 18 files, 16 of which are FOG CP/M disks, each in a separate LBR file. -FOGCPM is an identifier file, used to designate what section of the system you are in. SYSIN58.$$$ is a temporary file you can ignore. The files take up 2536 kilobytes of space, and 928 k are available <free> for additional files.]

[This tells you that FOG disk CPM#016 is in Drive D, User Area 1 and contains 176k of files. The first file listed is the disk identifier, -FOG/CPM.016, identifying it as FOG's CPM disk #016. The next file listed is the "DOC" file. Each FOG disk contains a short summary of what's on the disk in a DOCument file. The next file is a date marker, /DEC/85, which tells us that this was released in December 1985. The subsequent listings are the individual files on the disk. On the RCPM they are stored in a LBR file. Use NULU151 from the CFOG New Member Disk to remove the files from the LBR, or download them individually from the RCPM. Enter XM0DEM<cr> for help on how to download individual files from a LBR. If you copy the disks at a meeting you will find there are no LBR files on FOG disks. Note that some of the files on these FOG disks have been in the CFOG library for some time, or later versions are in the CFOG library. Others are not in the CFOG library. Some files have been released with special permission only to FOG and will not appear in the CFOG library.]
